The dynamics of trying to understand the daily challenges of today’s world has left many people wondering whether solutions can be found for both the macro (global) and the micro (personal) levels of life. Everyone, regardless of who they are, face different types and sets of challenges.
The fear of the unknown is also one of the major contributors to what motivates and drives us to seek ways of surviving in a very challenging arena of life. It is in these difficult terrain that nurtures the issues of anxiety, worry, frustrations and the like leading to unstable and unhealthy mindsets.
It is important to stop and ask fundamental questions such as, why am I here? What are God’s plans and purposes for me? How am I supposed to navigate a world full of challenges and uncertainties? What and who informs and influences my thinking and decision making? Who is in the driving seat of my life? God or me.
To sit back and enjoy the journey of life from birth to death calls for the application of trust in the Driver of your life. Do I have absolute faith and trust in this wonderful Driver. Can I let go of the reigns of my life without worrying about the twists and turns on the road of life and trust Him to drive me safely to the final destination of my life (eternal life in Him). Learn to let go of every plan, every asset, every problem, every decision. Learn to relinquish control to the true Driver of your life.
This is the application of faith and trust which takes away fear, worry, anxiety because of where you have firmly rooted your anchor. In Isaiah 26:3-4, the Bible says, God will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in God. 4 Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.

Thank you Lord for giving me the privilege and opportunity to trust you with my life at this point of my journey back to you. You have plans for my welfare and to grant me that protection of your peace that passes all understanding to establish my mindset and heart in you. To offer me a healthy mindset in life devoid of any illnesses. Guide me Lord for I am just a pilgrim passing through this land. Amen.
